Key Developments for the Year

1. The Centenary Anniversary Edition

The standout for many is the Oyster Perpetual 41 (Ref. m134303). To celebrate a century of the Oyster, Rolex has replaced the standard “Swiss Made” marking with a “100 years” signature on the slate sunray dial. This anniversary motif is also subtly engraved into the winding crown. It is a rare departure from Rolex’s typically rigid dial configurations, making it a high-priority piece for collectors.

2. Materials Innovation: Jubilee Gold & Rolesium

Rolex continues to flex its metallurgical muscle with Jubilee Gold, a brand-new 18ct alloy produced in their in-house foundry. It offers a unique hue—blending yellow gold with soft grey and pink tones—and debuted on the Day-Date 40 paired with a light green aventurine dial.

Additionally, the “Albino” Daytona (Ref. m126502) returns in Rolesium (Oystersteel and platinum). This model features an anthracite Cerachrom bezel enriched with tungsten carbide and, notably, a sapphire crystal caseback that reveals the movement.

3. “A New Golden Age” for Smaller Cases

The smaller Oyster Perpetual 28 and 34 models have been elevated from “entry-level” status to luxury powerhouses. They now feature solid 18ct yellow or Everose gold cases and, for the first time, dials featuring natural stone markers (such as heliotrope) set against green or blue stone lacquer.

4. Strengthened Certification

Technically, 2026 marks the introduction of an even more exacting Superlative Chronometer certification. While the green seal remains, the criteria for magnetic resistance, self-winding efficiency, and long-term reliability have been tightened across the entire new catalog.
